Jenna Beardsley-Smith, Principal

Jenna has been devoted to building big brands for over 20 years.  Starting with solid marketing foundation in consumer packaged goods at Heinz, she went on to lead marketing teams for Starbucks, J. Walter Thompson and T-Mobile.  Since founding Linksmith Brand Consulting, her clients have included Microsoft Bing, Eddie Bauer, T-Mobile, Alaska Airlines, Varo Bank, Rover and Molbak’s Garden+Home..

Jenna is known for her talents in brand purpose based marketing, especially her unique approach to celebrity and partner marketing.  She crafts tight marketing strategies built on deep consumer insights, then partners with creative, media and event agencies to launch high impact integrated campaigns that build brand love.   She brings a wealth of experience in production management for all marketing media, and her integrated TV, digital, experiential and social campaigns have won multiple awards.

After majoring in History and Government at Cornell University, Jenna drove across the country to earn her MBA at the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.   Most recently she has completed a certificate in Corporate Sustainability from the Imperial College of London. She regularly supports causes related to children, animals and cancer patients.    

Tracy Klinkroth, Research Partner

Tracy is a multi-talented market researcher who has driven research projects for brands such as RealNetworks, PlayNetwork, Concur Technologies, K2, New Balance, Best Buy, Starbucks, IZZE Sparkling Juice, Nature's Path, McDonald's, Flexcar, Capital One, American Express and Puget Sound Energy.  She is known for her talents in drawing out meaningful insights from respondents, and also offers a proprietary panel of highly qualified women respondents (called ChickChat Opinionistas).  Tracy graduated from the State University of New York in Geneseo, and is passionately involved in giving back to the community through numerous non-profits.
